This recipe is very similar to Lemon rice but the only difference is adding grated raw mango pulp instead of Lemon juice. This is easy to make recipes with less investment of time and effort. This recipe is prepared by using very less and readily available ingredients.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1 big Raw Mango
- ΒΌ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Peanuts
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp White split Dal
- 1 tbsp Chana dal
- Pinch of Hing
- 15-20 Curry Leaves
- 3-4 Green chilies
- Salt to taste
Recipe Steps
- Peel the skin of raw mango and grate the pulp of raw mango with the help of greater and keep it aside.
- Take a large mixing Bowl and add cooked rice in it. Now add turmeric powder and little salt (Half quantity of salt used in this recipe) in cooked rice. Mix it well and keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai and fry peanuts in oil. Keep the fried peanuts aside on a plate.
- Now in the same oil add a pinch of hing and mustard seeds. When mustard seeds start to sputter, add split white urad dal in oil. Mix well. Now add Chana dal in oil and do roasting of both chana dal and white urad dal in an oil for 1-2 minutes on low flames till small brown patches appear on the skin of both the dal or lentils.
- Now add curry leaves and chopped green chilies in the kadhai. Fry curry leaves and green chillies for 1-2 minutes and then add grated raw mango in the kadhai. Mix all the ingredients well.Cook grated raw mango for 3-4 minutes on low flame with the open lid. Add little salt in the raw mango and lentils (dal) mixture. Mix it well.
- After 4 minutes add Rice turmeric mixture in a kadhai. Mix it well with cooked raw mango mixture. In the last add fried peanuts and chopped coriander leaves in raw mango rice.
- Serve hot Raw Mango Rice with Rice Papad and Gunpowder.
